The Crisis Center
In the event of crisis one’s previous experiences and learned life management skills are not always adequate enough to understand and cope with the issues.
The issues that can become a crisis may be any sudden changes in one’s life. The sudden events might be a death of a loved one or a serious illness, becoming a victim of violence or crime, any conflicts in one’s personal relationships, unemployment, substance abuse and addictions, accidents, and exhaustion or conflicts at work place.
The goal of Crisis Center is intended to help and educate individuals develop and enhance life management skills.
The Crisis Center provides
- Help for individuals, families and communities in acute life crisis.
- Confidential counseling and referrals to appropriate professional services.
- Free of charge services for clients.
- Anonymous help; one need not to reveal his/her identity.
- A staff accumulated from Social and Health Care professionals and specifically trained volunteers as a support staff.

- Scheduled appointments
- Home calls in special needs
- Support groups, such as "Young Widows" and "Transform Your Life", which is targeted for people suffering from exhaustion and depression
- Psycho education, training and consultation
- Occupational counseling
